Our May business spotlight features Fresh Horses Saloon & Eatery located at 308 E Willow St right across from the Post Office. Patrick (Pat) Miller, grew up in Sioux Falls and moved to Pierre after college. 10 years went by and his family decided they wanted to be closer to Sioux Falls again. They loved the small town of Harrisburg and decided that was the best place for them. Pat and his family enjoy the neighborly feel of Harrisburg. Pat says the residents of Harrisburg are great! With the rapid growth of the town, he could not be happier to meet and greet new and existing residents of Harrisburg.
Pat, a third generation bar owner, bought Fresh Horses back in 2011. Pat says, “I have owned the bar/restaurant for 9 years, but the bar itself has been around since the 1970s. The current dining side used to be a garage”. Fresh Horses is a full service bar and restaurant. They offer a broad menu of appetizers, sandwiches, steaks, and fish. With the pandemic going on, Fresh Horses is offering a carry out only menu. They do offer nightly specials which consist of the following:
Tuesday: Wing Night (Traditional or Boneless wings and Fries)
Wednesday: Burger Night (Buy one burger/Fry basket and get a second basket for 75% off)
Thursday: Wrap Night ($1 off all our wraps)
Friday/Saturday: We feature out Prime Rib Dinner
Pat also adds, “Harrisburg is a great community full of fun and loyal customers”!
